About Generator Warehouse – Bringing Power to People

At Generator Warehouse, our goal is to provide you with the tools to make an informed choice about your home or business generator, as well as the finest and most comprehensive generator selection available on the market for all categories of generator. We’ll answer all your questions so that you’ll feel confident about the equipment we recommend. You’ll also like knowing that the price you pay will be at or below market rate. What’s more, if something goes wrong or if you are not satisfied with your generator, you won’t be left in the lurch – our team will do our best to help you.

Our history

The Generator Warehouse was started by a group of generator experts dismayed by the lack of relevant and useful information available to people when considering alternatives to mainspower. The generator range for consumer and commercial accounts is quite varied but not always easy to fully comprehend, even for so-called experts. We found that information provided by suppliers often conflicts from one to another and is frequently contradictory. We aim to solve that problem for anyone who is not sure what they need, is confused or irritated (as we are!) by contradictory information, or needs guidance in selecting the best generator for their home, business or leisure persuits.

Our difference

With over 55 years of combined experience in the generator market, the Generator Warehouse team has created a clear source of unbiased information and useful comparison tools so you can select the correct size of generator. Some considerations to ponder are:

Generator fuel consumption and fuel holding capacity. Comparison must be based on consistent running times and load levels.

Generator noise levels. Noise levels in dB(A) are frequently used as a point of reference, but at what distance? 1m, 3m, 5m, 7m and 10m?

Equipment warranty (unfortunately generators have a habit of not working if left idle for too long). Unlike an extended warranty for a TV, a generator Warranty is actually worth something.

Running load versus peak load. What is the difference? Does it matter?

Cost and safety considerations of petrol versus diesel generators for home backup.

kW v kVA….what is the difference and which is the best measure to refer to?
In our view, all are important considerations. In order to streamline the decision process for you, Generator Warehouse provides the statistics and information you need to make an educated, relaxed decision. It’s all part of how we do business … bringing power to people.
